Do you help with posing?
Absolutely! One of the biggest worries clients share with me is that they’ll feel “awkward” in front of the camera—but that’s where I come in. During your session, I’ll gently guide you with prompts and natural directions so you never feel unsure of what to do.
Instead of stiff, formal poses, I focus on creating authentic moments—like walking hand in hand, snuggling your little ones, or sharing a laugh together. These prompts help you relax and let your true personality shine through, which always makes for the most beautiful images.
Think of it less like “posing” and more like me helping you feel comfortable so your story unfolds naturally in front of the camera. ✨
Where are you based and do you travel?
I’m proudly based in the Niagara region of Ontario, surrounded by some of the most beautiful backdrops for photography—vineyards, trails, waterfalls, and lakeside views. Many of my sessions take place locally in spots like Jordan Village, Charles Daley Park, and Ball’s Falls, but I’m always scouting new hidden gems to keep sessions fresh and unique.
That being said, I truly love to travel! Photography has given me the gift of exploring new places while capturing people’s most meaningful moments. Whether it’s a short drive to nearby towns or a destination session that takes us across the province (or beyond!), I’m happy to bring my camera wherever your story unfolds.
Travel fees may apply depending on distance and location, but I’ll always be upfront about costs so there are no surprises. If you’re dreaming of photos in a special place—whether it’s a favourite family cottage, a sunflower field out of town, or even a destination wedding—I’d love to make it happen.
When will we get our photos?
I know how exciting it is to see your photos—I feel the same way after every session! My standard turnaround time is 6–8 weeks for full galleries. This allows me to carefully sort through every image, select the very best moments, and give each one the attention it deserves during editing.
I don’t believe in rushing the process, because I want your gallery to reflect the heart and soul of your day with my signature editing style. That said, I do send out sneak peeks within the first week so you have a few images to enjoy and share while the rest of your gallery is being perfected.
Every laugh, tear, and little detail matters—and I promise your finished gallery will be worth the wait. ✨
How many pictures will we receive?
The number of photos you’ll receive depends on the package you choose. All of my galleries include a minimum of 50 professionally edited, high-quality images, but often you’ll receive more.
For smaller sessions (like family, maternity, or newborn), the package you select will determine whether you receive a set number of images (e.g., 10 hand-picked favourites) or the full gallery (usually 40+).
For weddings and larger events, the final gallery often includes hundreds of images, as I want to capture every detail, candid, and in-between moment of your day.
No matter which package you book, you’ll always receive a thoughtfully curated gallery that tells the complete story of your session in my signature Wandering Feet style.
Can we purchase additional photos outside of our package?
Yes, absolutely! Every package includes a set number of images, but if you fall in love with more than what’s included (and most families do 💕), you’ll always have the option to purchase additional photos.
Individual images can be purchased for a set price per photo.
Or you can choose to upgrade to the full gallery, which gives you access to every edited image from your session (usually 40+).
This way, you never have to worry about leaving behind a moment you love. Many clients end up upgrading because it’s hard to choose just 10 favourites when there are so many beautiful memories!
